An easy tip to harden crochet jewellery

My favourite items to make when crocheting are jewellery and small accessories. I wanted to apply a substance that would make my finished products permanently hard even when washed, and something that would not take a long process to do. There is always the traditional cornstarch or sugar process but nothing is wrong with trying another alternative especially if it is easier and it works! Clear Nail Polish In the beginning, I tried using clear nail polish. I would apply it on unto onto the back of my crochet pieces. Due to the strong scent, I had to leave it for out a few days before I packaged it.  I would use bobbin pins and pin it onto a yoga mat material to shape some of the uneven areas. The nail polish process was not so handy for last minute orders however it did the trick and took about 10 minutes to dry.
